Right after INTERSPEECH 2026, the 2nd MLC-SLM Workshop will take place in Sydney on October 2, gathering researchers and industry experts to share their latest research and technical work on multilingual Speech LLMs.

The workshop will include keynote presentations from experts in the field and the 2nd MLC-SLM Challenge 2026 Summary + Awards Ceremony, where the results of the Challenge will be reviewed and awards will be presented to the winning teams.
In addition, several teams who participated in the Challenge will have an opportunity to share their technical approaches and research results in multilingual speech recognition and Speech LLMs during the Oral Session.
